Mount Terminillo - The mountain of Rome

Terminillo is 20km from Rieti in the Apennine mountain range, aproximately and hour and a half drive from the Yellow House. Advice on ski conditions and accommodation is available from the tourist office at Via dei Villini 33 in Terminillo/Pian de Valli (daily: summer 9am–1pm & 4–8pm; winter 9am–1pm & 4–6pm; tel 0746.261.121).

Campo Felice - Gran Sasso mountain range

Campo Felice is just south of L'Aquila in Umbria. It takes approximately 1 and a half hours to drive from the Yellow House.

Mount Amiata

Mount Amiata - 60km, approximately one hour drive from the Yellow House. Skiing at Prato della Contessa, Prato della Macinaie, Marsiliana and Cantore. Slopes are suitable for beginners and advanced skiers.
